Discounts

List View

  • Find: Begin typing the name of the content you would like to find and the system will perform a search. NOTE: Do not click the enter key as you type. This will remove the Search terms.
  • Sort Function: When scrolling over the top of the list, the Heading turns dark and an Arrow appears next to the Heading. Once you see the Arrow, simply click the Heading to Sort the List in alpha-numeric order. Click again for a reverse order of the list.
  • Edit Selected: To change the Publish Status or to Delete selected items, click the check boxes to the left of each item. When the boxes are checked, the "Edit Selected" button will turn on next to the Add button. Click "Edit Selected" to change Status or Delete.
  • Edit Content: To edit your content, click the underlined words that are in a different color. When scrolling over the words, a pencil icon will appear and the row will change to a light orange.

Add a New Discount / Edit Discounts

Detail

  • Discount Description: The name of the discount.
  • Effective From: The date the discount begins (leave blank for immediately).
  • Expires On: The date the discount ends (leave blank if it will not end).
  • Discount Type: Select the type of discount:
    • Date: This discount will be applied automatically during the date range specified by the above dates.
    • Coupon: This discount will be applied when the user enters the specified Coupon Code into the shopping cart.
    • Volume: This discount will be applied when the quantity of the product entered into the shopping cart meets or exceeds the specified number.
  • Discount: Select what kind of discount you would like to apply: set amount or percentage discount.

Products

  • Select products or families to apply to this discount code. Click the green plus to add them.
  • In the list of products using this discount, click the trash can icon to remove a product from the discount.

Managing discounts for subscription-based products

If the product you wish to discount is a subscription-based product (the product has "Customers may subscribe to this product" checked), discounts may only be applied to the One-Time Charge, which is the amount added to the first initial payment. It is currently not possible to discount any or all instances of the Recurring Charge.
